Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Inglemoor). Their defense stepped up to hand the Stanwood Spartans an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what Inglemoor needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The win got Inglemoor back to even at 4-4. As for Stanwood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Inglemoor will venture away from home to take on Bothell/Inglemoor at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stanwood, they will square off against Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
