Bountiful is 9-1 against Viewmont since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Bountiful RedHawks will host the Viewmont Vikings at 5:15 p.m. Bountiful will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Bountiful is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Box Elder: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Bountiful blew Box Elder out of the water with a 78-24 final score. The RedHawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Bountiful can attribute much of their success to Milika Satuala, who posted 19 points, and Taylor Harvey, who had 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maleah Nelson, who scored 11 points.

Meanwhile, Viewmont strolled past Roy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 56-37. The Vikings pushed the score to 50-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Royals cut but never quite recovered from.

Viewmont's win came from a few key players Bountiful will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Mara Mickelson, who went 6 of 15 en route to 20 points and three blocks. Those three blocks gave her a new career-high. Mary Carr was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Bountiful's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Viewmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Bountiful beat Viewmont 63-50 in their previous matchup on January 3rd. Will Bountiful repeat their success, or does Viewmont have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
