Soccer Game Preview: Broomfield vs. Erie

The Broomfield Eagles will head out to face off against the Erie Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Broomfield will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Broomfield is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Legacy, who was ranked tenth at the time (Broomfield was ranked 15th). The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Lightning on Tuesday. Broomfield wouldn't have won without Victoria Choren, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Erie made sure to put some goals up on the board against Horizon on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Hawks. Considering Erie's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Broomfield's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Erie, their win bumped their record up to 8-3-2.
