Baseball Recap: Issaquah Eagles vs. Newport - Bellevue Knights
There's no place like home for Issaquah, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Newport - Bellevue Knights on Thursday. That five run margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.
Tyler Miller looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That one hit allowed gave him a new career-low.
On the hitting side, Luke Farmer was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Sourwine, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Issaquah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
