DuBois Central Catholic suffers fourth straight loss on the road

After flying high against the Brockway Rovers last Thursday, the DuBois Central Catholic Cardinals came back down to earth. DuBois Central Catholic took a 60-41 bruising from St. Marys on Wednesday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for DuBois Central Catholic in their matchups with St. Marys: they've now lost seven in a row.

It was another big night for Quin Gavazzi, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds for St. Marys. Those six rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Louis Nedzinski was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.

DuBois Central Catholic's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-5. As for St. Marys, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

DuBois Central Catholic will be playing at home against Elk County Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elk County Catholic is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for St. Marys, they will head out on the road to face off against Bradford at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
