Softball Recap: Tolleson Comes Up Short

Tolleson lost against Basha back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines came up short against the Bears, falling 9-3. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Tolleson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jada Rubalcava, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Tolleson's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Basha, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Tolleson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Apollo on the 8th. As for Basha, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-5 loss against Corona del Sol on the 8th.
