Softball Recap: Nogales Takes a Loss

Nogales lost against Duarte back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Nobles lost 17-3 to the Falcons. The Nobles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nogales saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayda Eaton, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Eaton has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Nogales' defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Duarte, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Nogales will head out on the road to take on Corona at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Duarte, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Garey at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
