Volleyball Recap: Blanco Takes a Loss

Blanco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thrall Tigers.

Blanco's offense was headlined by Carleigh Dotson and Gretschen Grosch, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Landry Meyer and her nine assists. Dotson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Blanco's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Thrall, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Blanco didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fredericksburg on the 23rd. As for Thrall, they will venture away from home to face off against Giddings at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
