It was a good run, but Ingomar unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 16-11 to the Calhoun City Wildcats. The Falcons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

Ingomar's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5. As for Calhoun City, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ingomar is set to take on their familiar foe Palmer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Calhoun City will face off against rival Water Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
