Basketball Game Preview: Denver North Vikings vs. Fossil Ridge SaberCats

The Denver North Vikings will take on the Fossil Ridge SaberCats on Wednesday. Denver North is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Denver North can't be too worried about heading out to take on Fossil Ridge: they just beat DSST: Cedar at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Denver North came out on top against DSST: Cedar by a score of 45-35 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Fossil Ridge came up short against Rocky Mountain on Thursday and fell 56-46. The SaberCats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Denver North will need to focus on slowing down Addilyn Sandstedt, one of several Fossil Ridge players who made an impact when they last played. She posted 17 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Leone, who had 12 points and eight rebounds.

Fossil Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Denver North, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
