Softball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley lost against Carrabec back in June of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cavaliers came up short against the Cobras, falling 9-2. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Carrabec, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Valley will square off against Telstar at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carrabec, they will welcome Richmond at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cobras' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season.
