Basketball Recap: Park Tudor Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Park Tudor duked it out withSouth Bend Riley on Friday. The contest between the Park Tudor Panthers and the South Bend Riley Wildcats didn't end well, with the Park Tudor Panthers falling 66-51. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Wildcats are ranked 75th).

Park Tudor's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for South Bend Riley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Park Tudor and Evansville Harrison will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Evansville Harrison will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Park Tudor surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Bend Riley, they and Pike will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. South Bend Riley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Pike likes a good challenge.
