Basketball Game Preview: Kennedy Titans vs. American Eagles

Kennedy and American are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Kennedy Titans will challenge the American Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedy will be strutting in after a victory while American will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Kennedy didn't have too much trouble with Arroyo as they won 55-37. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Meanwhile, American was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 96-23 loss at the hands of Moreau Catholic. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-15.

Kennedy pushed their record up to 7-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for American, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.

Kennedy was able to grind out a solid victory over American when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 59-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kennedy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
