Softball Game Preview: Osage City Indians vs. Baldwin Bulldogs

The Osage City Indians will head out on the road to square off against the Baldwin Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Baldwin will be up against a hot Osage City squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Indians never let Council Grove get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.

13 must be Baldwin's lucky number: they beat Osawatomie with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Trojans. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Osage City pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Baldwin, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
