Basketball Recap: Pilgrim Comes Up Short

Pilgrim suffered their biggest defeat since November 18, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 62-42 to the Newbury Park Adventist Gators. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Gators: they've now lost three in a row.

Pilgrim's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Newbury Park Adventist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Pilgrim will welcome Ojai Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Newbury Park Adventist, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
