Basketball Recap: Dewey Takes a Loss

After flying high against Roosevelt back in December of 2024, Dewey came back down to earth. Dewey were outmatched by the Lincoln Railsplitters and fell 54-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which Dewey was not able to get on the board.

Dewey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Lincoln, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.

Dewey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-37 loss against New Utrecht on the 8th. As for Lincoln, they will square off against Fort Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on January 15th.
