After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Blackfoot, Bonneville was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Century Diamondbacks. The Bees haven't had any issues with the Diamondbacks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Gracie Longhurst was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. Longhurst was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Bonneville's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Century, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bonneville beat the Diamondbacks by a score of 17-7 later that day.
