With a playoff win on the line, Sedro-Woolley rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Peninsula Seahawks as they made off with a 9-2 victory. Considering the Cubs have won 19 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sedro-Woolley's win was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average this season. As for Peninsula, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-10.
