Baseball Recap: Austin Triumphs

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Austin). They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rowe Warriors 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Maroons have posted since March 9, 2024.

Austin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Rowe, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Austin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 loss against Southwest on the 28th. As for Rowe, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Canyon Lake on the 1st.
