Volleyball Recap: Nease Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

While Nease's victory against St. Augustine wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Yellow Jackets 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won eight in a row.

Nease took St. Augustine into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-11, 25-22, 18-25, 15-8.

Nease's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for St. Augustine, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nease will venture away from home to square off against Beachside at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Augustine, they will head out to challenge Warner Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Yellow Jackets are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
