Soccer Recap: Rogers Comes Up Short

Rogers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Classical Purple. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Rogers couldn't quite close it out.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Classical, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Rogers has already played their next contest (against Lincoln School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Classical, they will face off against Johnston at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
