Basketball Recap: South Lake Takes a Loss

South Lake lost against Regina back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The South Lake Cavaliers fell to Regina 57-51.

South Lake has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-10 record this season. The victory was the seventh in a row for Regina, bringing their record for this year to 13-9.

South Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Regina, they will face off against Detroit Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Detroit Country Day knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Regina likes a good challenge.
