Baseball Recap: Meyersdale Red Raiders vs. Everett Warriors
If Meyersdale was feeling good fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Forbes Road on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Everett Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in April.
Aiden Thomas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits.
At the plate, Cole Yoder was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
