Volleyball Game Preview: Northside Christian Lions vs. Madison Christian Eagles

The Northside Christian Lions will square off against the Madison Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Northside Christian had won two straight road games and Lexi Baker did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Lions put the hurt on Genoa Christian Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory for which the team can thank Baker, who had seven aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Northside Christian never let Genoa Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11, 25-16.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Madison Christian blew past Delaware Christian 3-0.

Madison Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-8, 25-16.

Northside Christian's record now sits at 17-2. As for Madison Christian, their record is now 15-3.
