Volleyball Recap: Palisades Gets the Win

The Palisades Pumas beat the Weddington Warriors 3-1 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pumas.

Palisades had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-15.

Palisades' record now sits at 6-8. As for Weddington, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Palisades will challenge rival Gaston Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Weddington is set to face off against their familiar foe Union Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
