Basketball Game Preview: Craig County Rockets vs. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys

The Craig County Rockets will challenge the Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Monday, Craig County had to suffer through a 67-14 loss at the hands of Staunton River.

Meanwhile, Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy faced Roanoke Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy came out on top against Roanoke Catholic by a score of 48-41. The win was nothing new for the Ospreys as they're now sitting on four straight.

Craig County better keep an eye on Jordan White. She was instrumental in Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy's win, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten boards. White is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Adah Tuckwiller was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Craig County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
