Basketball Recap: Eastern Piles Up the Points Against Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering

Eastern won the last time they faced Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eastern Ramblers claimed a resounding 65-6 victory over the Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers. The Ramblers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Eastern got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Madisyn Butts out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten steals. The contest was Butts' third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Labrea Carter, who went 7 of 10 on her way to 15 points along with six assists and five boards.

Eastern smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.
