Baseball Recap: Chaparral Lobos vs. Deming Wildcats

Chaparral stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Deming Wildcats. Winning may never get old, but Chaparral sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Israel Nieto and Michael Molina made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Nieto didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out ten over 4.1 innings pitched. Meanwhile, Molina pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned run off two hits. At the plate, Nieto went 2-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI, while Molina scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
