Baseball Recap: Seneca Comes Up Short

Seneca entered their game against Blue Ridge on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bobcats fell just short of the Fighting Tigers by a score of 6-5. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Fighting Tigers earlier this season, when they won 7-2.

William Cutshall was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Seneca suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 14-3. As for Blue Ridge, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seneca will challenge Berea at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Ridge, they will square off against Broome at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
