Volleyball Recap: Chicago Mt. Carmel Comes Up Short

Chicago Mt. Carmel lost against Loyola Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Chicago Mt. Carmel fell 2-0 to Loyola Academy. The Caravan have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chicago Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Loyola Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

After both having extra time off, Chicago Mt. Carmel and Homewood-Flossmoor will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on April 7. Homewood-Flossmoor will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Chicago Mt. Carmel surely won't give up without a fight. As for Loyola Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against O'Fallon on the 29th.
