Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Franklin

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Franklin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles 3-2. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on three straight.

Franklin saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Leach, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double. Those two hits gave Leach a new career-high.

The victory got Franklin back to even at 8-8. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Coming up, Franklin will take on Bishop Fenwick at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Patriots have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.5 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
