Basketball Recap: Thunder Basin Comes Up Short

Thunder Basin has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 66-50 fall against the Sheridan Broncs on Saturday. The Bolts were probably out for revenge after losing 59-52 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Thunder Basin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Sheridan, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Thunder Basin will head out to take on South at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Thunder Basin is facing South at the right time seeing as South is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Sheridan, they will venture away from home to square off against East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. East knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Sheridan likes a good challenge.
