Baseball Recap: Greater Nanticoke Area Gets the Win

The third road matchup was the charm for Greater Nanticoke Area, as they earned their first away win of the season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Northwest Area Rangers on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won four in a row.

Serafino Raggi was incredible, scoring nine runs while going 1-for-3. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.5 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Mark Welch, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.
