Randolph is a perfect 9-0 against Brocton since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to take on the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Things were looking good for Randolph after they put the first run on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Pine Valley Central by a score of 3-2. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aliza Hind was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Brocton is still winless after their match against Gowanda on Thursday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Panthers.

Joleena Doner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those doubles were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Paige Miller, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Randolph's record now sits at 5-8. As for Brocton, their record is now 0-8.

Randolph took their victory against Brocton in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cardinals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
