Basketball Game Preview: Tazewell Bulldogs vs. Lebanon Pioneers

Tazewell is 0-10 against Lebanon since February of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tazewell Bulldogs will challenge the Lebanon Pioneers at 6:15 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Tazewell is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 23rd straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost to Richlands at home by a 49-33 margin. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 49-39 to Virginia High.

Lebanon's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Tazewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Tazewell ended up a good deal behind Lebanon in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, losing 66-48. Can Tazewell avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
