Volleyball Recap: East Coweta Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Coweta was the 2-1 winner over Allatoona when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Buccaneers on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While East Coweta was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19.

Their offense was headlined by Taryn Timmons and Avery Miller, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Niah Redmond and her 12 assists.

East Coweta now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Allatoona, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Coincidentally, East Coweta and Allatoona will both be playing Calhoun the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Buccaneers will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
