Coastal Academy is a perfect 7-0 against Orange Glen since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Stingrays will welcome the Patriots at 4:00 p.m.

Coastal Academy came up short against Escondido Charter on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Escondido Charter scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Orange Glen narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past La Jolla Country Day 3-2. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Torreys: they've now won three in a row.

Orange Glen's win bumped their record up to 9-18. As for Coastal Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.

Coastal Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Orange Glen in their previous meeting back in March, winning 3-1. Do the Stingrays have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
