Symmes Valley came tearing into Saturday's game with 18 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Northmont Thunderbolts by a score of 7-4.

Symmes Valley pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Northmont, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Symmes Valley will host Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
