The South View Tigers will take on the Gray's Creek Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in South View's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matches.
Last Thursday, South View made easy work of Purnell Swett and carried off a 62-39 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Antrell Gilmore was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jakari Jordan, who posted six points in addition to 13 boards and eight blocks.
South View smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in November of 2023.
Meanwhile, Gray's Creek played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 76-43 loss at the hands of Lumberton. The Bears have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
South View will need focus on slowing down Ezekiel Reed, one of several Gray's Creek players who made an impact when they last played. He had eight points along with eight rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Quion Andrews, who put up ten points.
South View pushed their record up to 7-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22 points. As for Gray's Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: South View has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.1 boards per game. However, it's not like Gray's Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.7 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
