Volleyball Recap: The Webb Schools Victorious

The Webb Schools won the last time they faced Sierra Vista and things went their way on Friday too. The Gauls came out on top against the Dons by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gauls.

The Webb Schools walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 18-25, 25-20.

Alexandra Wang went supernova, getting 16 digs and six aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (37). Another player making a difference was Gianna Rabida, who had 12 digs and three aces.

The Webb Schools' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sierra Vista, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Webb Schools will host Baldwin Park at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sierra Vista, they will square off against Rowland at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
