Basketball Recap: French Settlement Falls Short of Kinder in the Playoffs

French Settlement and Kinder squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but French Settlement had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 49-48 to the Kinder Yellowjackets. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 223rd).

This is the second loss in a row for French Settlement and nudges their season record down to 19-13. As for Kinder, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 18-15 record.

As of now, neither French Settlement nor Kinder have any future games scheduled.
