Football Recap: Francis Parker Takes a Loss

The Francis Parker Lancers took a blow against the St. Joseph Academy Crusaders on Friday, falling 60-8. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jet Pierce threw for 38 yards on three of six attempts. Jaylen Murray was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards.

Francis Parker now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Joseph Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Francis Parker will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Horizon Prep at 3:30 p.m. on October 3. As for St. Joseph Academy, they will square off against Calvary Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
