Baseball Recap: Pearce Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pearce had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Belton Tigers. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by just one run.

Pearce's win bumped their record up to 5-9-1. As for Belton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Pearce wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 10-3 defeat against Lake Highlands on the 11th. Belton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
