Soccer Game Preview: Myrtle Beach vs. Conway

Myrtle Beach is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Conway a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Myrtle Beach Seahawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Conway Tigers at 7:15 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Myrtle Beach fell victim to North Myrtle Beach and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Chiefs.

Meanwhile, Conway also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against North Myrtle Beach on Friday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Conway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 150th, while North Myrtle Beach are ranked 49th).

Myrtle Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Conway, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Myrtle Beach took their win against Conway when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 7-0 score. Will the Seahawks repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
