Recap: DeKalb Barons vs. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger Saints
On Friday, DeKalb lost to Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at home by a decisive 42-28 margin.
Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Minix led the charge by picking up 145 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Minix was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 65 yards. Ethan Springer was another key contributor, throwing for 252 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.6 yards per attempt.
DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.
