Volleyball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy lost against Beacon Hill back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions fell just short of the Gryphon by a score of 3-2. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Gryphon 25-17 in the first set.

Legacy Christian Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (105-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-23, 25-20, 17-25, 15-12.

Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Beacon Hill, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Legacy Christian Academy will square off against Highland Hall at 3:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Beacon Hill, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hillcrest Christian at 5:00 p.m. on October 14.
