Volleyball Recap: Olympian Wins Going Away Against Montgomery

Olympian barely beat Montgomery the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Aztecs on Tuesday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

While Olympian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-23, 25-15.

The win got Olympian back to even at 12-12. As for Montgomery, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olympian will head out to challenge Oceanside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Montgomery, they will face off against Castle Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
