Baseball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Cleveland's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Hayden Wildcats on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 10-0 loss two weeks ago.

This is the second loss in a row for Cleveland and nudges their season record down to 4-12. As for Hayden, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

Coming up, Cleveland will venture away from home to face off against West End at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayden, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hayden Wildcats face off against Oak Grove Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Oak Grove will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Hayden surely won't give up without a fight.
