Basketball Game Preview: Lost River Raiders vs. Trinity Lutheran Saints

Lost River is 0-3 against Trinity Lutheran since January of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Lost River Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Trinity Lutheran Saints at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Lost River sitting on five straight wins and Trinity Lutheran on three.

On Friday, Lost River needed a bit of extra time to put away Bonanza. They escaped with a win against the Antlers by the margin of a single free throw, 39-38.

Meanwhile, Trinity Lutheran won against Lowell on Tuesday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Trinity Lutheran was the clear victor by a 51-30 margin over Culver.

Trinity Lutheran has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Lost River, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Lost River came up short against Trinity Lutheran in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 51-38. Can Lost River avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
