Softball Recap: Fayette County Takes a Loss

Fayette County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Waterloo Cougars, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 on Friday.

Fayette County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Waterloo, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Fayette County has already played their next match, a 5-2 win against Phillips on the 22nd. Waterloo has also already played their next contest (against Cold Springs), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
